Aboriginal Aquatic Resource & Oceans Management Programs

The Aboriginal Aquatic Resource and Oceans Management (AAROM) program provides funding to First Nations organizations to develop administrative, scientific, and technical expertise related to aquatic resource and oceans management. AAROM aggregate bodies are established by their member communities to contribute to integrated ecosystem and watershed management and planning processes on their behalf. The APC’s current role is to provide support services for the AAROM on regional issues with impacts beyond specific watersheds.
